Where your data lives
Buzzer has no server, no accounts and no analytics. Everything is stored only in this browser on this device (local storage): what the AI has learned about you, your settings, your API keys, your favorite video links, and the names of local videos you've picked.
What leaves your device
• Your messages and profile context (what the AI remembers, plus your video library titles/tags) are sent to the AI provider you chose — Free (Pollinations), DeepSeek, or an OpenAI-compatible server.
• If you enable cloud speech-to-text (Whisper), your voice is sent to the OpenAI-compatible endpoint for transcription.
• If you use Stash, requests go to your own Stash server.
• Casting uses Google's Cast framework.
About the free AI service
⚠ The free option (Pollinations) is a shared, unauthenticated public endpoint with no privacy guarantee. For private conversations, choose DeepSeek or OpenAI (compatible) with your own key. Note that DeepSeek processes data in China.
What we never do
Buzzer cannot sell or share your data — there is no server. Your API keys are never included in the "Export developer info" file.
Your control
"Forget me" (Settings → Privacy) erases what the AI has learned and resets your companion. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything on this device.
